DescriptionThroughout the entire creative period extending over 30 years, Dziuljeta Raudoniene and Gvidas Raudonius would be unable to encounter even a single predominant theme : only the principal, multi-layered idea, which has encompassed within itself limpid sadness, hope and expectation, is repeated.
Ceramic art, while undergoing external change, presents its viewer with newer and newer, inner (tangible) meanings. Although both artists are united by the aforementioned common principles, their ceramic art is very individuali in nature.
Dziuljeta Raudoniene‘s creations are dominated by an impetuous sort of form and much significance is accorded to colour.
Gvidas Raudonius prefers restrained, monumental plastic, whose main components consist of texture and laconic details.
These are comprised of quiet, optimistic works, providing inimitable originality.
