

ALOYZAS STASIULEVICIUS
1931 born in the town of Ariogala, district of Raseiniai.
1950-1956 studied painting at the Lithuanian State Institute of Art (Vilnius Academy of Arts, since 1990).
1956-1957 taught drawing and watercolour at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Telsiai (Telsiai Art Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts, since 2004).
1960 member of the Lithuanian Artist‘s Association.
1960-1976 taught drawing and painting at Vilnius M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art ( National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, sice 2001).
1974- 1981 member of the Board of the Lithuanian Artists‘ Association, Chairman of the Bureau of the Painters‘ Section.
1976-1979 taught painting at the Lithuanian State Institute of Art.
Since 1979 devoted all his time to creative work.
Awards:
1978 awarded the Honorary Title of the Lithuanian Art Figure; the Lithuanian Artists‘ Association‘s award at the 4-th Baltic Triennial of Painting.
1982 winner at the 4-th International Triennial of Realistic Painting, Sofia.
1997 first prizes at the competitions for painterly works organized by the ministries of the Environment and the Internal Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania.
2002 Prize of Art awarded by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania for his contribution to Lithuanian art and culture.
