RASA LEONAVICIUTE

Born in 1972 in Vilnius, Lithuania.
2001- Graduated Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts with Master‘s Degree in Textile.
2002- Member of Lithuanian Artists‘ Association.
Participating in art exhibitions since 1996.
2000- Winner of the 5th LVMH Competition of Young Artists in Paris, France. Completed 3-month study in Paris Academy of Fine Arts (Ecole nationale superieure des beaux-arts de Paris, rue Bonaparte).


 Group „BALTOS KANDYS“ was established in 1998 by six young tallented textile artists ( Auste Jurgelionyte, Karolina Kuncinaite, Migle Lebednykaite, Rasa Leonavičiute, Laura Pavilonyte, Julija Vosyliute). The group participates and is actively envolved ir organization of various exhibitions, simposiums, and educational initiatives since 1998. Group „BALTOS KANDYS“ has been successfuly showcasing their art projects in Lithuanian and other foreign markets.
